American League Of Roller Skating
This was one of the first of the outlaw leagues of Roller Derby in August-September 1950. The American League Of Roller Skating would also be known as the American Skating Derby, Roller Skating Derby and the Roller Relay Derby.
There were two teams in this outlaw league. They were the New Jersey Americans and the New York Americans. Here are the rosters for both teams. Thank you to several Roller Derby historians and the Roller Derby page, Who's Who In Roller Derby on this.

The two teams would play a series of games in August-September in Staten Island. Eventually, a number of skaters would reapply to the National Roller Derby League. Either, the skaters would be fined, suspended for a time or both. According to sources, not all skaters returned to the NRDL.
